The Most Exciting Iceland Tour Package
Iceland is located in North of Atlantic and between Europe, North America and the polar ice cap. It is more than pretty views and ancient landscapes. Iceland is a land where horses grow with long hair on their backs and where the liquor buyer’s queue is the longest one in the shops. It is a place where everyone calls each other by their first name, where all the churches have tiny gold stars painted on their ceilings, and where mailing addresses haven’t changed in 1000 years. All this in a country that’s named after ice. On this Iceland Tour Package you will be feel that Iceland is not just a sightseeing destination but a place where we come to feel things we have never felt before.

Then, we will head towards the southern coastline where we will enjoy the most spectacular views along the way. Driving further east, we will cross the Eldhraun “fire lava” field, which is decorated by a fluffy layer of moss today. Then, we will drive to Skaftafell in Vatnajökull National Park where we will go for an adventurous glacier hike! In winter, we climb through a crystal ice cave instead of the glacier hike. At the end of the day, we will stop at the site that is often nicknamed as the crown jewel of Iceland: Jókulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. This surreal lake with floating icebergs and the nearby Diamond Beach are Iceland’s most photographed natural wonders! After the long and wonderful day, we will spend the night in a hotel in Höfn, the lobster capital of Iceland. Ask your guide for tips to find the Northern Lights!

Today, we will drive on unpaved roads a while and see more of Iceland’s charming countryside. We will enter the matchless Eastfjords area where tiny fishing villages and idyllic fjord scenery await our exploration. After leaving the fjords behind, we will head to Lagarfljót, the famous monster lake. If we are lucky, we might be able to spot the giant serpent that lives in this lake according to the legends and even some YouTube videos. In the afternoon, we will set out for a short hike to explore the Hengifoss and Litlanesfoss waterfalls. They are the most stunning cascades in the east, beloved for the especially long basalt columns and red stripes that decorate the rocks around them. We will finish the day at the Iceland Wilderness Center, or Óbyggðasetrið. Housed at the edge of Northern Europe’s biggest wilderness area, this immersive center invites visitors to step back into the 19th century. The center was established by historian Arna and Icelandic movie set designer Denni. It includes a fascinating exhibit on past local culture. Our accommodations will be in the town of Egilsstaðir. Head out into the wilderness to chase the Northern Lights if you're here in winter.

On this day, we will also explore the area around Lake Myvatn, which will enchant us with its surreal volcanic landscapes, fierce geothermal fields, and mystical volcanic sculptures. We will also have the opportunity (as an optional extra) to enjoy a relaxing bath in mineral-rich alkaline geothermal water. On our way to our hotel, we will make another stop at a highly photogenic waterfall, the horseshoe-shaped Goðafoss, which also has a great amount of history. Before arriving at our hotel, we will make a stop in Akureyri, the capital of the North where we can enjoy a nice evening walk and explore the city center.
